The Department is one of the most revenue earning departments of the state of Gujarat. It provides a valuable service to the public: Registering documents by levying and collecting stamp duty at the market value and charging Registration fee for the services rendered in the registration of the documents. Earlier, due to manual procedures, the department was facing a lot of problems, such as:

Procedure & standards were not uniform.
Information was not easily available.
There was lack of transparency in valuation procedure.
Original document never used to be returned within a stipulated time.
Manual system of copying and endorsing was time & energy intensive.
Document preservation was restrained by available space and retrieval cost was high due to deterioration of documents, etc.

New Electronic Registration Centers by Silver Touch:In order to address all earlier problems, the department has outsourced the entire job. We have computerized the whole process with servers, desktops, networking, printers, scanners etc. to render a state of the art facility to public. Our operators work in 104 such centers to provide digitized registration documents on daily basis. Benefits:
